A panoramic view of the Mediterranean

The line starts in Perpignan, then crosses the Roussillon plain that fades into the blue of the sea. The train's magnificent route hugs the bays and coves of the Vermeille coast.

Panoramic views, with the sea at arm's length ... This is one of the region's most beautiful railway routes.

Terraced vineyards tumble down towards the Mediterranean, roads wind their way up roads steep enough to electrify all mountain bikes.

Each village is an invitation to enjoy the Catalan way of living: Collioure, Port-Vendres, Banyuls-sur-Mer, Cerbère … and beyond, Spain.

In the meantime, whether it's swimming, scuba-diving, sea kayaking, there's plenty to enjoy on the Vermeille coast.
