You can take the train to cover the Tarbes - Lannemezan section. However, the 967 liO bus has a similar route but with the added bonus of taking you to central Capvern-les-Bains, a spa town nestling in the rolling and sun-soaked Baronnies hills.

48 minutes from Tarbes or 12 minutes from Lannemezan. Stop: Office de Tourisme. The stop is just 4 minutes from Edenvik where you can enjoy a wellness experience at Capvern-les-Bains spa.
The spa marks the start of several hiking trails, including the "Let's go to the château" and "From Château de Mauvezin to Escaladieu Abbey" footpaths. From April to November, the CTTA association runs minibus tours of the area (Lourdes, Esparros chasm, markets and farms etc). Places to eat and sleep on-site. Find out more.
