Danou Izakaya: a gourmet stopover with flavors from Japan and Korea

Opened in May 2026 in Gimont, Danou Izakaya invites you to discover the spirit of izakaya, these small traditional Japanese bars where we like to share gourmet plates around a tea or a cold beer.

Housed in the premises of the artisanal and organic brewery Jean Brasse, this cozy restaurant is an ideal address for lovers of authentic Asian cuisine. Ambre welcomes you with a smile every evening, except on Sundays and Mondays.

Every day, the chef prepares home-made cuisine using fresh produce and showcasing Japanese and Korean flavours. Sushis, rolls, salads, soups, bibimbap or deopbap make up a varied menu that will delight both the curious and lovers of Asian gastronomy.

On the terrace or in its room with an intimate atmosphere, Danou Izakaya offers a friendly setting to share a meal with friends or extend the evening around a craft beer brewed on site.

The establishment also hosts occasional evenings and events (to be found in the agenda).
