The Candide restaurant, certified Tables & Auberges de France, invites you on a culinary journey combining the flavours of south-western France with inspiration from around the world.

Candide, a traditional restaurant in Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, offers a cuisine that gives pride of place to local produce, homemade dishes and inspirations from all over the world. Here, everything is cooked on the premises, including the desserts, using fresh, organic, local and seasonal produce, selected through short distribution channels.

Chef Jean-François Picard, who is passionate about gastronomy and trained at the Ferrandi school and abroad, notably in Mexico and Thailand, has created an original menu that blends the flavours of the South-West with exotic touches.

The restaurant is open every morning for breakfast, every evening for dinner, and continuously at weekends and during school holidays.

It’s a warm place, open to the world, where conviviality and the pleasure of good food are the order of the day.
