Fancy trying something a bit different with the cordon bleu? Head to Amone, at 36 Rue du Taur, in the heart of Toulouse. This unique spot turns this classic French dish into the star of a gourmet street-food experience that’s generous, brimming with creativity and 100 per cent gluten-free.

At Amone, the cordon bleu is homemade using fresh ingredients, and is available in a range of recipes. Chicken fillet, ham and Comté cheese cream for the traditional ‘Gérard’, dried beef and Comté for the ‘Babette’, or even a vegetarian version with a vegetable cutlet, candied peppers and cheese cream: there’s a cordon bleu to suit everyone’s taste. Two seasonal recipes are regularly added to the menu.

The concept also plays on nostalgia and childhood memories: comforting recipes, rich flavours and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reimagines the famous ‘just like at Granny’s’ dish, but with a modern street-food twist.
