Über uns
The lake of Gouyre, located on the communes of Vaissac and Puygaillard de Quercy, was formed with the construction in 1989 by the General Council of Tarn and Garonne of a dam on the Gouyre, small tributary of the Aveyron.
Es ist von großem ökologischem Interesse, insbesondere für die Vogelwelt der Region. Sensibles Naturgebiet seit 1992, es hat bereits von Einrichtungen wie Flößen, Observatorium und markiertem Wanderweg profitiert. Es ist seit 1994 durch eine Prefectural Biotope Protection Order (APPB) geschützt. Freier Zugang das ganze Jahr über.
