“La triangulaire de Cransac” is the result of a long reflection on local history. This work of contemporary art, declined in three poles, is the answer to a commission given to the artist Joëlle Tuerlinckx between the city of Cransac, the Fondation de France and its New Sponsors program and the Ministry of Culture and Communication. 

The work is composed of a 34 m high ‘Monument-Mémoire’ erected on the old mine tile, near shaft n 1 (the monument is one tenth of its depth) and two poles designated by the artist as a Contemporary Showcase and a Historical Showcase (in the museum Les Mémoires de Cransac).

“La triangulaire de Cransac” is part of the circuit “Art in the Public Space in Aveyron”.
