In a former mill nestled in the Monts d’Alban, enjoy an authentic stay surrounded by nature and conviviality, just a few kilometers from Albi and its treasures.

In the heart of the lush Assou valley, in Villefranche-d’Albigeois, this semi-detached cottage (G1413) welcomes you in an authentic setting where wood and exposed stone create a warm atmosphere. Ideally located near Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Episcopal city, you can explore its exceptional heritage, museums, and lively streets. Nearby, the villages of Ambialet and Réalmont offer unique panoramas and walks along the Tarn. The Monts d’Alban will delight nature lovers with their hiking trails.

The Gîte des 8 Meuniers features a spacious 40 m² living area on the ground floor, including an open-plan kitchen fully equipped (oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, gas hob, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker), a dining area, and a cozy lounge with fireplace and TV. A shower room and WC complete this level.

Upstairs, you will find a second shower room and three bedrooms:

The shared swimming pool (4 x 8 m, depth 1.5 m), secured by fencing, is open from June to late September and offers a lovely relaxation area to share with the other cottage. A small stream runs near the property, with a charming waterfall, and fishing is possible during authorized periods (1st category with permit). Private parking on site.
This cottage is perfect for a family or a small group of friends seeking peace and conviviality, with the option to rent the entire estate for up to 23 guests (G1415).
