At an altitude of 600 metres, between green valleys and deep forests, the Au Fer à Cheval estate welcomes you in an exceptional natural setting, ideal for group stays. Located in Paulinet, in the Tarn, this large-capacity accommodation is a reception centre, educational farm and holiday farm, as well as a holiday centre and group gîte, set within a 19th-century farmstead. Family-run and dynamic, Au Fer à Cheval offers stays on a full-board basis or self-catering, encouraging guests to reconnect with rural know-how and embrace a responsible lifestyle in response to today’s environmental challenges.
Committed to an environmentally responsible approach that values human relationships and close contact with nature, the centre offers a wide range of activities focused on horses and animals, food and the rural environment. Approved by DDJS and the French Ministry of Education. Horse riders welcome (stables available).

The estate covers 4 hectares and offers total immersion in rural life, with a vegetable garden, discovery trail, playground and picnic tables set in the shade of ash and chestnut trees. Guests can also enjoy a private outdoor swimming pool for relaxing moments during the summer.

The gîte is rented exclusively for groups of at least 40 people. Indoor facilities are designed for conviviality and include a fully equipped professional kitchen, a sound-equipped dining hall and a video room for evening activities.
Accommodation is spread across three separate buildings:

Gîte Rose: three bedrooms with 8 bunk beds and shared bathrooms, plus one bedroom with 3 beds and private bathroom.

Central farmhouse building: two dormitories with 10 beds each, shared bathrooms.

Upper gîte: three bedrooms with private bathrooms.

All bedrooms are equipped with bunk beds to comfortably accommodate groups. The estate also provides stables for welcoming horse riders.
