Between Toulouse and Albi, in the heart of the Pays de Cocagne, L’Orléans is the perfect base camp to explore the Gaillac vineyards, the Land of Bastides, and the Lauragais region.

Located in Lugan, in the Tarn, the holiday cottage L’Orléans invites you to discover the charm of the Pays de Cocagne, ideally positioned between Toulouse, the Pink City, and Albi, the Episcopal City—both just 30 minutes away. Nearby, don’t miss the Jardin des Martels, the Giroussens forest and its renowned ceramic centre, or the leisure base of Saint-Lieux-lès-Lavaur with its charming steam train.

The gîte is an independent house converted from a former outbuilding, right next to the owners’ home. You will enjoy the natural lime-plaster walls, the carefully curated decoration featuring a permanent exhibition of paintings, and the two terraces, including a shaded 30 m² one.

On the ground floor, the living area includes an open kitchen with dining space, fully equipped (oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, filter and pod coffee makers, etc.), a lounge with TV and hi-fi system, and a separate toilet.

Upstairs, 3 bedrooms:
– One with two single beds (90×190)
– One with one double bed (140×190)
– One with one king-size bed (180×200) and a private shower room with toilet
A separate bathroom and an additional independent toilet are also available.

The enclosed garden is partly private, and you will have access to a shared outdoor swimming pool (12×5 m, 1.60 m deep, open from June to September, 9am–9pm, secured by safety barriers), as well as leisure facilities: table tennis, trampoline, swing set, and a rugby field. Animals on-site: goats, sheep, hens, dogs and a lovely cat.

The gîte is equipped with reversible air conditioning and a wood-burning stove. Towels are provided, and end-of-stay cleaning is included (except kitchen and bathrooms). Private parking is available next to the property.

Heating from 01/10 to 30/04: 30 kW/night included, extra consumption billed at current rates.
Air conditioning from 01/05 to 30/09: 15 kW/night included, extra consumption billed at current rates.
