30 houseboats with 2 to 12 berths are available. From our hiring base in Douelle, you can go downriver towards Luzech to the west, the site of a Celtic hill-fort. Upriver to the east, you can moor your boat (no licence needed) beneath the Château de Mercuès, beside the historic city of Cahors or by the little village of Larnagol before returning to the base, past the cliffs of Bouzies and the delightful village of Saint-Cirq Lapopie.
