If you’re looking for freshness, you’re welcome. La Marine du Pêcheur has its own unique concept: a restaurant serving fresh, local fish. Every morning, Anthony Bénézeth goes out to sea and also helps himself to the freshest fish from the Palavas fishery. Anthony Bénézeth, who comes from a family of fishermen going back three generations, gets up at 3 a.m. every morning to go fishing in the Etang du Prévost or out at sea. Accompanied by his faithful sailor Dorian and his dog Neige, he raises the nets and selects the best catches. They strive to perpetuate the family traditions handed down by his grandfather Louis and his father Francis. After fishing, Anthony brings his precious catch straight back to the restaurant. He also turns to his fisherman friends in Palavas to complete the supply, thus guaranteeing always fresh products from the Palavas fishery. Chef Samuel adds his own innovative touch, while Anthony enriches the cuisine with ancestral recipes and his own specialties, handed down from generation to generation. Together, they ensure that each dish is prepared with care and passion, respecting traditions while surprising the taste buds of their customers.
