Discover the Mas-d’Azil prehistory museum, a unique place to explore the Azilian civilization and its treasures. Admire the famous Faon aux oiseaux thruster, a masterpiece of Paleolithic art, and a priceless collection of typical Azilian pebbles and microliths. Be amazed by the Magdalenian skull, the only human remains from the Mas-d’Azil cave, presented with its scientific reconstruction.

The visit takes place on two levels: on the first floor, temporary exhibitions and reproductions of paintings and parietal engravings inaccessible in the cave; upstairs, prehistoric objects of exceptional quality, weapons, tools and engraved or sculpted art furniture.
