Come and discover the adventure of gliding in the Montagne Noire and the museum shop.

Since 1974, APPARAT (Association pour la Préservation du Patrimoine Aéronautique et la Restauration d’Avions Typiques – preservation and restoration of aeronautical heritage and typical aircraft) has been building up a very rich collection, which is on display in its museum at the world-famous Montagne Noire Gliding Centre, now a listed historic site. More than 25 aircrafts are on display, including several in flying condition, as well as a dozen engines that have become very rare, with evocative names such as Aubier-Dunne, Poinsard, Salmson, Vaslin and Anzani. Tours in English and picnics available. Open all year round by appointment.
