Le Mazage des Trégans, what an unusual name… Is this just another guest house in the Gaillac vineyards? No, because this one is like no other, steeped in history, with or without an ‘s’. We’re in Gaillac, in a loop of the Tarn, behind the small airfield and the Longueville stadium, in the middle of the countryside, peaceful, yet just two minutes from the centre and the hustle and bustle of the bastide town. Eric, the owner, has completely redone the interior, with an eye for detail, attention to your comfort and equipment that you won’t often come across. What can I tell you about this guest house? Just come for a weekend, a week or even two, and you’ll fall under the spell of this old farmhouse, but also of the vineyard, the oldest in France, the 7 wines vineyard and its friendly winegrowers. And we still haven’t told you about the “Bastides Albigeoises”, with the highlight being the “Cité Episcopale d’Albi”, a group of buildings unique in the world.

Eric has completely renovated and refurbished this traditional farmhouse on the Gaillac plain, a family heirloom, and has been awarded a 4 ears Gîtes de France rating! A great deal of care has been taken, using beautiful materials, ingenuity, taste and original decor. The guest house is completely independent, so you can make the most of every space. Pretty courtyard to the front, garden, private swimming pool. Ground floor: large living room with fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, sitting room. Upstairs are the four bedrooms and two shower rooms. Underfloor heating. Baby equipment. Internet and wifi connection. Bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided. Cleaning service included.
