Le Jardin des Cabanes, a 4-hectare property, a large family home of nearly 300m² on private grounds

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills, you’re right at home in “la petite Toscane”. Le Jardin des Cabanes is an ideal base for visiting the surrounding area, and is equidistant from Toulouse, Albi and Montauban.
On the way, you’ll visit the Bastides that made the richness of this “Toscane”: Rabastens 8km away, Lisle-sur-Tarn, Gaillac, Albi and its Episcopal Palace (Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile, Palais de la Berbie, Musée Toulouse-Lautrec) classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

*The gîte

The house has two terraces on its south and east facades, an unfenced garden of 4000m², and a private, fenced swimming pool.
The house is detached and has been renovated using ecological materials and old-fashioned style. On hot days, the thick walls keep the house cool.

The ground-floor living rooms are each 25m²:
– kitchen with two refrigerators, oven, dishwasher, filter coffee maker and 11-seat table
– dining room with 11-seat table
– living room with two sofas
– lounge-library-television with sofa and armchairs

The first floor offers 5 bedrooms sleeping 11 and 2 cots:
– 25m² bedroom with a 160x200cm bed and a 90x190cm bed
– 25m² room with a 140x190cm bed and a 90x190cm bed
– 20m² bedroom with a 140x190cm bed and a crib
– 25m² room with two 90x190cm beds and a crib
– 15m² bedroom with one 90x190cm bed

One bathroom, two shower rooms and 3 toilets.

Washing machine, television, WIFI (the house is large and the walls are thick, so WIFI is not available in all rooms).

Children’s play area, sheltered barbecue, parking spaces. Access to a special socket for recharging electric cars is available for a flat fee.
2 adult bicycles and 3 children’s bicycles available.
Saltwater swimming pool with beach walk. Dimensions: 9x4m, fenced with barrier, deckchairs.

A non-cash deposit is required on arrival.

The owners live in a small independent chalet at the entrance to the property, behind the garages. This cottage is at the rear of the house and is not visible from the terraces, swimming pool or windows of the house.
You can order seasonal organic vegetables from the owners.

Pets welcome (one dog allowed, ground floor only). Animals are present on the property: chickens, a cat and a border collie cross setter dog.

For your comfort, all-inclusive price: beds made on arrival, towels provided and end-of-stay cleaning included.
If you connect your electric car to the reinforced socket, a supplement will be charged.
