An exceptional stay in an authentic farmhouse with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees from the private swimming pool

Nestling in the heart of the Pyrenean countryside, this former family farmhouse with its off-white stone façade, typical of the region, sets the tone from the moment you arrive: here, authenticity meets refinement. Inside, the harmony of natural materials and meticulous decoration create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. And for the ultimate in relaxation, there’s a private swimming pool set in lush greenery, as well as a small football pitch and petanque bowls.

Located in Cassagne, a charming village in the centre of the Occitanie region, this gîte is ideally placed for exploring the riches of the Comminges. Whether you’re a lover of heritage, nature or gastronomy, the surrounding area is full of treasures to discover. From the gîte, you’ll be at the start of a number of hiking trails. The thermal baths of Salies-du-Salet (6.4km); Martres-Tolosane (14.3km), famous for its earthenware and round village; the Musée de l’Aurignacien (20km); and the Saturday market in Aspet (27km) are just a few kilometres away. Several Grands Sites in the Occitanie region are nearby: Saint-Betrand-de-Comminges (50km), Saint-Lizier (25km) and Bagnères-de-Luchon (67km). Spain and the Mourtis ski resort are 50km away.

The gîte adjoins the owners’ house. Ground floor: kitchen (thermomix, raclette machine, fondue machine), living/dining room, billiards room, bathroom, separate WC. First floor: 5 bedrooms (1 double bed 160*200cm, study)(1 double bed 160*200cm, study)(1 double bed 160*200cm, attic with baby room)(1 double bed 140*190m, study)(1 double bed 140*190cm and 2 single beds 90*190cm, study), shower room/WC (between the dormitory and the baby room), table football area and library area.
There is a carport between the gîte and the swimming pool. By the pool, you can enjoy delicious lunches in the shade.
