We welcome you to Sophie’s house, in a village in the Hérault. Gignac lies in the heart of the Hérault mid-valley, between land and sea, with its old vineyards, market, entertainment, walks, hikes and water sports. Just 10 minutes away is Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, one of France’s most beautiful villages, the “Grand Site de France des Gorges de l’Hérault”, Saint-Jean-de-Fos, famous for its pottery, the Clamouse cave, the DIable bridge and the Salagou lake…. For a city break, Montpellier is just 25 minutes away, with its Place de la Comédie, the narrow streets of the old town, Peyrou, the Arc de Triomphe and Odysseum…. The sea is also just 30 minutes away, with Palavas-les-Flos, Sète, La Grande Motte… Plenty to keep you busy during your stay. We offer one room and one suite. They have all the necessary comforts, private bathroom or shower room, private toilet, TV, Wifi, Google Chromecast, safe, air conditioning/heating in each room. (The rest of the house is not available). Breakfast (7:30 to 9:30 a.m.) and dinner (7:30 to 8 p.m.) are served in your room. A relaxation area with jacuzzi is available on reservation, as is the evening meal. We wish you a pleasant stay in our house and our beautiful region.
