Domaine Lacroix-Vanel is located in Caux, near Pézenas. The vines are located on hilltops, surrounded by woods of holm oak, truffle oak, cades and cistus de Montpellier. The villafranchian terroir is very well drained, but naturally poor. Gravel and basalt enrich the wines with complex acids. Domaine Lacroix-Vanel was taken over in 2016 by Marc Olivier Bertrand, a young 39-year-old winemaker with a solid background and a wealth of experience, whose cultivation methods are designed to produce the highest-quality raw materials while respecting the environment and preserving biodiversity.
