On the banks of the Canal du Midi, l’Ecluse 12 is the new friendly restaurant in the lock-keeper’s house in Laval.

L’Écluse 12 enjoys a privileged location right on the banks of the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s in this bucolic setting that the restaurant offers a gourmet break for cyclists, locals, boaters and walkers.

Inaugurated as a “guinguette éclusière”, the establishment is now a restaurant open from Thursday to Sunday lunchtime, offering a range of dishes including “assiettes à partager” and Sunday lunchtime brunch!
L’Ecluse 12 offers friendly cuisine with home-cooked dishes based on fresh produce and local cheeses, as well as tapas and vegetarian options. In winter, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat raclette!

In season, from May onwards, the restaurant is open non-stop, serving hot and cold drinks and desserts for snack breaks.

For groups, the restaurant can be privatised for birthdays or private or business events. The terrace is ideal for cocktails.
