Housed in the old Vieux Pont district, the Musée Cévenol preserves and promotes local historical heritage. Terracotta, wood, stone, wool and silk represent the historical driving forces behind crafts and industry in the southern Cévennes.

Open since 1963, this three-storey museum displays a rich collection of objects evoking :
-the daily lives of the inhabitants of the Cévennes causses and valleys,
– ancient trades,
– the life of writer and academician André Chamson.
