Uno spazio dedicato alla memoria dei 475.000 rifugiati spagnoli che fuggirono dal franchismo alla fine del gennaio 1939. Una scenografia didattica ripercorre il loro viaggio dall’inizio della guerra civile spagnola fino al confino nel campo di concentramento di Argelès-sur-Mer.
Un percorso commemorativo, con totem esplicativi, parte dal memoriale del campo e termina al “monolite”, attraversando il campo Traduction automatique par DeepL via DATAtourisme

A space dedicated to the memory of the 475,000 Spanish refugees who fled Franco’s regime from the end of January 1939 onwards. An educational exhibition traces their journey from the start of the Spanish Civil War to their imprisonment in the Argelès-sur-Mer concentration camp. A memorial trail, marked by explanatory totems, begins at the Camp Memorial and leads to the ‘monolith’, passing through the cemetery known as the ‘Spanish Cemetery’. The Memorial has a temporary exhibition hall. For reasons relating to visitor safety, only guide dogs are permitted at the Argelès-sur-Mer Camp Memorial. Thank you for your understanding.
