Lastours è un vasto complesso archeologico con i suoi quattro castelli, Cabaret, Tour Régine, Surdespine e Quertineux, costruiti su una base rocciosa, e il suo villaggio medievale, il Castrum de Cabaret, profondamente incastonato nella valle. La visita si svolge in due fasi: la scoperta del panorama dal Belvedere e l’accesso ai monumenti attraverso un sentiero escursionistico allestito a partire dalla vecchia fabbrica tessile. La mostra archeologica “Lastours, 4000 anni di storia” presenta le principali scoperte fatte in quasi 25 anni di scavi. Inoltre, c’è un percorso “Fauna e Flora” che prepara il visitatore alla scoperta dell’ambiente naturale, organizzato intorno a tre temi: geologia, botanica e zoologia.
