This refuge is located in a site that is both mineral and wooded, offering a vast panorama over an area that is exceptionally rich in both flora and fauna, close to lakes that are a paradise for fishermen and hikers (HRP, GR10).

An overnight stay at the refuge will give you the chance to discover a very pleasant aspect of the mountains and a well-deserved rest. Tour des montagnes d’Ax n°1 et 2, variant GR107).

Dormitories; blankets; comforter recommended in winter.

Not guarded: part of the 16-person refuge is open. Contact the warden
