In Valcabrère, between Gascony and the Pyrenees, two charming guest rooms await you at the “”Clos d’Artagnan””, an iconic property restored with respect for its original character.
The Athos Room, located on the ground floor, is fully designed for disabled access. Spacious, bright and decorated with period features, it offers a comfortable double bed (140×200), an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and facilities adapted to all needs. Upstairs, the Porthos Room will charm you with its refined furniture and carefully chosen curtains. The two single beds (90 x 200 cm) that can be joined together and the private bathroom contribute to the peaceful and elegant atmosphere of the room. Guests have access to a shared lounge, perfect for reading or socialising, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and induction hob) and a cosy dining room where breakfasts made with local and homemade products are served. The large enclosed garden overlooking the Garonne river is perfect for relaxing and contemplating.
Cyclists are welcome (secure storage coming soon), as are pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela.

Things to discover near Valcabrère: from the house, walk to the Basilique Saint-Just de Valcabrère, a Romanesque gem at the foot of the mountain. Then cross over to the majestic town of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, with its cloister and cathedral overlooking the valley. You can reach the Clos d’Artagnan via the Montréjeau train station (swimming lake and golf course) in 24 minutes by bike. Canoes and kayaks can be hired in the village, and the spa and ski resort of Luchon is 33 km away. Just 15 minutes away, explore the Gargas caves and their unique prehistoric paintings.

Please note: the house is a communal building managed by the town hall. An association may hold events on the covered terrace on Saturdays from 4pm to 10pm.
