At the heart of the Causse Méjean, vast limestone plateau, Stéphanie and Nicolas welcome you in the Ange Gardien. Their two bed and breakfasts are located in the small Causse hamlet of Nivoliers. Nivoliers is like at the end of the world, true peace haven for nature, hiking and mountain biking lovers, near the Gorges de la Jonte and Tarn as well as many exceptional sites. Since 2011, the Causses and Cévennes have been registered as UNESCO World Heritage for the landscapes of mediterranean agro-pastoralism. This recognition acknowledges the value of an exceptional site whose landscapes have been shaped by Man over millenniums. In 2018, the International Dark Sky (IDA) has given the prestigious label International Dark Sky Reserve to the Cévennes National Park. It has become the biggest IDAR of Europe.
