In the heart of the Gaillac vineyards, on a rocky outcrop, stands proudly the Château de Mauriac!
This military fortress, listed among the fifty most beautiful private residences in France, has 5 guest rooms with four-poster beds.
The building was founded by a Templar in 1214 to protect the Pays de Cocagne. It is now fully restored and it is possible to visit its rooms which are fully furnished in the 18th century style.
In addition, the castle has been awarded a Michelin star.
