Group gîte in the heart of the Montagne Tarnaise

Holiday centre and group accommodation for individuals, Berlats Accueil Découverte can reach a maximum capacity of 116 beds.

Gîte for groups, fully into the Tarnais mountain, composed of three main buildings and 3 small chalets, to reach a maximum capacity of 106 places, all in bunk bds, in rooms of 4,6 or 8 persons. Collective washing facilities and private ones in the bdrms. Main building 44 places, with activities/class rooms, dining-rm, lounge, professional kitchen, 10 bdrms. Lower building 32 places, 8 bdrms. Higher building 22 places, 3 bdrms. Swimming-pool, games’ grounds, synthetic multi-sports grounds, brook. All types of stays and all configurations possible, from 2 to 100 persons for sports or cultural associations, discovery classes, family get-togethers, children’s stays, anniversaries, etc.. In the heart of the Lacaune Mountains, 600 m high, you will be surrounded by woods, meadows and brooks (the Berlou flows at the very feet of the gîte). In Berlats, you’ll enjoy angling, hiking on foot, on mountain bike, getting invigorated in a 100% natural setting, far from town, at the outskirts of the large forests of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc. In Berlats, we are 20 km away from the Sidobre, a wild mountain forest harbouring sensational geologic curiosities : the Goose Rock, the Three Cheese Rock, the Chaos of La Balme and of La Resse, the Trout’s Jump, and multiple secretive treasures and legends of rocks screened off by foliage. In Berlats, we are at a few kms from the superb, large lakes, more or less wild according to your fancies : lakes of Le Laouzas, La Raviège, Le Merle. In Berlats, we are a few minutes away from Lacaune, capital of the Tarnaise pork delicatessen, renowned for its Hot Springs Spa and its Casino.
