The lake is very accessible. A footpath leads around the lake. Picnic tables and a barbecue are available to the public in shady surroundings. The pontoon gives visitors a great view of the lake. It is located close to the car park and is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Fishing is managed by the Association pour la Pêche et la Protection du Milieu Aquatique (A.P.P.M.A) de Carbonne. The lake is open to licensed anglers during the legal season. Trout are regularly released into the lake.
