After a 54-meter ascent on Europe?s first underground funicular, you can wander through the galleries to the incredible Cathedral of Wonders, the result of the alchemy of rock and water. With its exceptional acoustics, the cathedral has been the venue for numerous concerts and a Christmas mass for the past 50 years. It is classified by the French Ministry of the Environment as a National Site, and is also one of Languedoc’s “Sites d’Exception”.
