One of the highest vineyards in France Mas Llossanes is an 11-hectare vineyard at an altitude of up to 700 metres, and is one of the highest estates in France. It is located in the sunniest region of the country: Roussillon. The vines were planted in the 1940s, taking root in granite and schist soils. The vines are between 40 and 80 years old, and six indigenous grape varieties make up the estate’s mosaic: Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Chenanson, Cinsault and Chasan. The vines are farmed organically according to biodynamic principles. These practices comply with very precise specifications. In addition to this, we take other steps to encourage the life of our soils and reduce our environmental impact. Thanks to a deep-rooted heritage, it perpetuates an authentic winemaking tradition, combining elegance and finesse.
