Thierry Arcier began growing vines in 2001 on family plots of Alicante, Carignan, Grenache Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Syrah. He planted Marsanne and also added Cinsault and Aramon to his grape varieties. He stopped using synthetic products 8 years ago (production is certified AB). As soon as he set up, he wanted to discover the transformations that lead from grapes to wine. After taking part in a few vinifications, he set up a small cellar in a former movie theater in 2016. The grapes are harvested by hand, to enable them to be sorted and transported in the best possible conditions. In 2016, he vinified four small plots, all of which produced what they could and didn’t suffer too much from the drought. For this first vintage, the idea is: one grape variety = one bottle.
