Domaine de la Perprèze is named after a vineyard that has belonged to the Sanier family for over 5 generations. In 1548, there were already Saniers in Puéchabon. They were brewers, ploughmen, farmers and winegrowers. Michel Sanier, from winegrowing families in Aniane and Puéchabon, worked as a family helper, then as a second winegrower. Grapes were brought to the Aniane cooperative winery until it closed.
