VILLENEUVE-LES-BEZIERS , Hérault
Chi siamo
The story begins in 1963, when Henri Andrieu bought the Caylus estate. To this day, Henri’s granddaughter Inès manages the estate, continuing the family tradition and becoming the sixth generation of winemakers in the family.
Domaine de Caylus is located in the South of France, in the heart of the Languedoc region, just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea.
The story began in 1963, when Henri Andrieu bought the Domaine de Caylus. His son Louis took over the estate a few years later. Concerned about his impact on the environment and determined to preserve the estate’s biodiversity, he converted to organic farming in 1999.
To this day, Henri’s granddaughter Inès manages the estate and continues the family tradition, becoming the sixth generation of winemakers in the family to pass on this heritage to future generations.
Various grape varieties are grown on this 20-hectare AB-certified vineyard: chardonnay, merlot and pinot to produce wines with the IGP Vin de Pays de l’Hérault, Ecocert organic label, to preserve as naturally as possible the specific characteristics of this exceptional terroir.
