I invite you to discover the picturesque landscapes of the Cèze valley by bike and to draw them. We will cycle at our own pace, pencils in hand to sketch the magnificent landscapes our Valley offers us.

Olivier Daumas, a local artist living in Verfeuil, invites you to discover the picturesque landscapes of the Cèze valley by bike and to sketch them. From Goudargues to Cornillon, passing through La Roque-sur-Cèze, Verfeuil, and even Lussan, we will cycle at our own pace, pencils in hand to sketch the magnificent landscapes our Valley offers us. We will stop according to our inspiration and desires in places conducive to escape and creation. We will meet local producers who will introduce us to their products. We will take the opportunity to do some tasting. All our senses will be engaged: tasting, smelling, touching, and taking a hearty bite of what the Cèze valley offers us. The artistic rides are true immersions in our local terroir. A sharing of our heritage, a journey towards daydreams and the pleasure of the senses, all approached from an artistic and playful perspective, since the common vector is drawing. No need to know how to draw or be a virtuoso; drawing is a pretext for strolling and contemplation. Whether you are a child or an adult, two hours will be enough to surrender to artistic creation and the discovery of our region. A Few Words from Olivier: For more than ten years, I have been sharing my art and my passion for it with children through my youth books. My enthusiasm, and the pleasure of passing it on, have encouraged adults to pick up their pencils and knock on my studio door. In my approach, everything is art. It’s more an approach, a desire towards art, than a simple technical learning process. Art must be popular, for everyone; it shouldn’t intimidate. This is what I strive to demonstrate: finding the little creative spark in each of us that pushes you towards childhood, the letting go towards self-esteem. If we combine that with a bit of sport, nature, discovery, and sharing, I am the happiest; a natural state that tends to be contagious. “Call me to organize your ride”
