This is the place for nature lovers and holidays with family or friends. There are so many outdoor things to do here and iconic trails to experience. Go trekking by foot, horseback, bike or MTB on the Stevenson Trail, GTMC or Way of St James spanning the Massif Central from north to south.
The Lot Valley Cycle Route takes you 470km from La Canourgue in Lozère to Aiguillon in Lot et Garonne, through 5 départements and 3 of the area's iconic and welcoming valleys (both for treks and nature trips): the Tarn, Lot and Aveyron Valleys.
Point-to-point trekkers can explore fabulous scenery on a route that mainly covers quiet roads or sections of greenways. It's a prime route for families as both keen and less experienced trekkers can just ride the sections they want.
The “Aveyron Valley and Gorges by bike” cycling route is undoubtedly an incredible cycling route. In (only) 85 kilometers, you will be able to cross very different landscapes at your own pace and arrive by surprise at spectacular viewpoints while stopping at charming medieval villages. Leaving Montauban to Laguépie, prepare to pedal through some wide, well-banked curves. With the river on one side and the cliffs on the other, the Aveyron gorges in Tarn-et-Garonne are wild and majestic.
