ST PONS DE THOMIERES , Hérault – Patrimonio natural
Acerca de nosotros
At the heart of the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park, the mountain range scales heights of over 1000 metres. A listed site, it is surrounded by steep gorges (Héric, Colombières, Madale). Its mountain climate is influenced by the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, a feature that has allowed a stunning variety of fauna and flora to develop across its diverse landscapes, including the presence of mountain sheep. A viewpoint indicator at the summit of Mont Carroux offers unobstructed views across Bas Languedoc (lower Languedoc), the Biterrois plain and the Mediterranean.
