You’re on the doorstep of Cordes-sur-Ciel

The famous medieval town is just 1km away. Take a journey through almost 800 years of history and soar through the cobbled streets of this village with its head in the clouds.

Come back down to earth and explore the narrow streets of Les Cabannes, a village with a rich architectural heritage. You’re in the heart of the village, within walking distance of the market and local shops. The village is the starting point for many hiking trails, and a stopover on the GR36 and Chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. You’ll also find Le Garissou water sports center, with swimming pool, mini-golf and outdoor activities.

LA CAZA sleeps 4. Enjoy a single-storey white stone house with a modern decor. Les Gîtes de l’Oc consists of two gîtes in a large building. Each has its own independence, and you share only a common entrance and grounds (you can rent the whole place for 12 people – Ref. G1803 on Gîtes de France or only the second adjoining gîte for 8 people – Ref. G1802 on Gîtes de France).
THE GITE: access from the kitchen with its central dining island. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals: oven, induction hob, microwave, Senseo® coffee maker, dishwasher… A small bench in the corner will be appreciated for an aperitif, unless you prefer to go outside with access to a small terrace adjoining the gîte and its charcoal barbecue.

– The living room with its large fireplace welcomes you. TV area and office corner.
– From the living room, access to the master bedroom with 160x200cm bed, desk and direct access to the outside.
– Second bedroom with two single beds (90x200cm) that can be twinned to create a large double bed (160cm).
– Separate shower room and toilet.

Outside to be shared with the second 8-person gîte. Enjoy the large bean-shaped swimming pool, and the Zen garden furniture in front of the pool. Two other dining areas are available for gîte occupants.

Flat-bottomed swimming pool 1.40 m deep, with beach. Heated from April to October, gated. Pool open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Gîtes de l’Oc are located 1.5 km from Cordes-sur-Ciel, in the midst of a string of listed villages such as Puycelci, known as “le petit Corde-sur-Ciel”, Bruniquel, Castelnau-de-Montmiral, Penne, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val…

In winter, the mist envelops him and isolates him from the world below. An almost mystical experience.
