Acerca de nosotros

Construido en 1846, el observatorio de Jolimont es uno de los mejor conservados de Francia. Alberga una serie de instrumentos astronómicos inscritos en el inventario del patrimonio (telescopio meridiano, telescopio de mapa celeste, telescopio de 830 mm, gran telescopio de 38 cm de diámetro).

The Jolimont observatory is the headquarters of the Société d’Astronomie Populaire (SAP). Its team of volunteer members practises amateur astronomy while at the same time, within the limits of its means, ensuring the discovery of astronomy for the general public through conferences, visits and events such as: La Nuit des Etoiles, La Fête de la Science, les Journées du Patrimoine and observation of astronomical phenomena. The Observatory is open to the public every Friday evening. (reception from 9pm to 9.30pm – visit begins at 9.30pm). On the last Friday of the month, the presentation of the observatory is replaced by a conference.
