In the heart of the mysterious Sidobre, between Castres and Lacaune, the Moulin de Record invites you to a timeless escape. Just a few minutes from Brassac and Ferrières, along the winding Guyor road (D66), you’ll discover, nestled deep in a wild and verdant valley, an imposing seigneurial mill, guardian of centuries past.

Here, everything exudes nature and serenity. Gabriele and Jean-Pierre welcome you to their cozy cottages, where birdsong and the murmur of the river punctuate your days. Let yourself be carried away by the good life: trout fishing at the edge of the cottage (from March to September), natural swimming in the clear water, crayfish hunting excursions… without mosquitoes or the stifling summer heat.

As a gift, a guided tour of the mill will immerse you in its secrets of yesteryear, between the Albigensian Crusade and the Wars of Religion. A moving journey to the heart of a place steeped in history, to be shared with family or friends.

Le Havre Sauvage cottage, 38m² on 2 levels, with 1 bedroom, converted in 2012 in an annex building of the mill, with a large terrace overlooking the river, to contemplate the nature that surrounds us.
Living room with open-plan equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge area with a sofa bed (comfortable 160×200 cm bed), separate toilet, and bathroom (shower).
Via the miller’s ladder, you reach the bedroom on the mezzanine with a 160×200 cm bed and a 100×200 cm single bed. This cottage can sleep up to 5 people. Wi-Fi internet access.
Covered BBQ area next to the cottage, with a large table and benches.
Baby cot available upon request.
Washing machine nearby (shared with the other cottages).
