Stay in the former Notary’s House, in the heart of Occitan Tuscany, for a peaceful countryside getaway.

Located in Milhars, a charming village in the heart of Occitan Tuscany, La Maison du Notaire invites you to discover a region rich in history and stunning landscapes. Just a few kilometres away, the hilltop medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel and the city of Albi, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, promise unforgettable visits. Wander through cobbled streets, admire Gothic façades and enjoy renowned museums, including the famous Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. Nearby bastide towns, local farmers’ markets and hiking trails offer a true immersion in the Occitan way of life. Nature lovers will enjoy walks along the Aveyron River and panoramic views over rolling green hills, while wine enthusiasts can explore the prestigious vineyards of Gaillac.

The gîte, semi-detached with another accommodation, offers a peaceful and friendly setting for a stay with family or friends. On the ground floor, you will enjoy a bright living area with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, pod coffee machine), a dining area and a cosy lounge with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing evenings. This space opens onto a terrace where you can enjoy outdoor meals or a barbecue.

Upstairs, the sleeping area includes:

One bedroom with two single beds (90×190)

One spacious bedroom with a double bed (140×190)
A bathroom with shower, bathtub and WC completes this floor.

Outside, a terrace with lovely views awaits for convivial moments. A small shared green area is accessible on the side of the house, and parking is available in the municipal car park located 150 metres away. The gîte is fully air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable stay in any season.
