L’Ange Gardien evokes the boat of Claude Terrisse, a famous 17th-century privateer from Agde. It is reminiscent of the merchant ships that could be armed in case of need, and which plied the Mediterranean from the 15th to the 19th century.
L’ Ange Gardien takes you out to sea for a few hours along the Agatha coast, spreading its wings and offering you the calm of sailing with the wind: waves lapping against the wooden hull, the creaking of the rigging, volunteers taking part in maneuvers, stories for those curious about history, explanations of this complex but efficient lateen sail.
