We are a restaurant of friends in the heart of a peasant farm located in Saint-Elix d’Astarac.

The restaurant des Mawagits welcomes you for the 2026 season from June 10!

We offer a seasonal menu that changes every week between terroir and creation as well as a selection of wines, most often natural or organic in a joyful, soothing setting. The Mawagits’ farm has been in existence for five years now and has diversified into several fields (market gardening, gemmotherapy, training, nursery, vegetable cultivation). The restaurant of the Mawagits comes to close this diversification in beauty by reinforcing the aspect of sharing already largely present on the farm through food. The two managers, maître d’hôtel and chef de cuisine are long-time friends and are happy to share with you their passion for good food as well as their love of warmly welcoming people they quickly consider as friends. The restaurant has a huge terrace under the trees that will satisfy families looking for a pleasant place for children.

Every week, the restaurant’s menu changes depending on the seasons according to the chef’s desires and what they find in the surrounding markets. you can as well enjoy elaborate vegetarian dishes as a comforting butcher’s piece. The director of the room, a wine lover, will introduce you to his universe by offering local and mostly natural oenological gems. The place is intended to be pleasant, uninhibited where one feels at home. a small place of paradise !

The restaurant starts its week on Wednesday evening with a pizza party exclusively, then continues on Thursday lunchtime and evening, Friday lunchtime and evening as well as Saturday lunchtime with the starter, main course and dessert menu (country table).
