Installé dans un ancien hôtel particulier, le musée présente des collections permanentes de faïence, mobilier, tapisserie d’Aubusson et beaux arts des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. Un espace retrace le souvenir de Molière, et expose le fauteuil du comédien.

Housed in a former mansion, the museum features permanent collections of earthenware, furniture, Aubusson tapestries and fine art from the 17th and 18th centuries. One section is dedicated to Molière, displaying the actor’s armchair.

A collection of folk art and traditions, alongside exhibits on other local figures who have shaped the area’s history, round off the tour.
