In an idyllic setting, the restaurant is located in the heart of the village of Montaillou, next to the village museum and a stone’s throw from the ruins of its castle. You’ll discover generous, home-cooked cuisine.
Montaillou is nestled on a ridge of the Pyrenees bordering the departments of Ariege and Aude.
The new owners were seduced by the environment, the village’s history and, above all, the friendliness of its inhabitants.
Dishes are always prepared using fresh produce from producers in the Ariège and Aude departments, in line with the “circuit-court” philosophy.
The restaurant also offers daily suggestions on the chalkboard, guaranteeing a variety of seasonal produce to suit all tastes, whether you’re a meat lover, vegetarian or vegan.
The restaurant is a convivial place where you can enjoy a good meal together. When the weather’s fine, take advantage of the large terrace for an open-air meal.
