About

La Riposte is a cultural café based in a house in the heart of the village of Calmont, on the banks of the River Hers. The house offers a warm welcome, vintage decor and a friendly atmosphere. You’ll feel right at home in this space, a place for sharing and culture!

The café La Riposte is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 7pm and until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
On Wednesday and Saturday lunchtimes, you’ll find a small organic and local restaurant where you can eat on the spot. On the menu: platters, a veggie dish of the day, desserts, all homemade.
In the afternoons and evenings, La Riposte offers snacks and drinks, or tapas to share in the evenings.
Vegetarian single course at lunchtime at €12. Main course + dessert (your choice) at €14. Additional drinks available (juice, local lemonade, syrups, etc.).

This cultural café offers workshops, concerts, lectures and debates (registration required), open from Wednesday to Saturday. Next to the dining room, you’ll find a bookshop in partnership with the La Mazette bookshop. Upstairs, you’ll find the Studio Uma ceramics workshop. Downstairs is a small second-hand shop. In fine weather, the garden with its terrace overlooking the river Hers is an invitation to daydream.
