CHAPRISTEA

About

In the heart of Toulouse’s historic centre, just a stone’s throw from the Place du Capitole, Chapristea invites young and old alike to enjoy a unique experience: savouring a cup of tea, a hot chocolate or a delicious pastry in the company of cats. With its cosy atmosphere and charming setting, this one-of-a-kind tea room is the perfect spot for a tasty family treat.

Children are welcome to discover the big cats, watch them roaming freely and, if they’re in the mood, share a lovely moment of bonding with them. It’s a wonderful opportunity to teach the little ones about respecting animals, whilst enjoying a snack that’s a bit out of the ordinary!

When it comes to treats, Chapristea offers a menu of drinks and pastries, as well as light lunches. It’s the perfect way to treat the whole family during a trip into the city centre, after a stroll through Toulouse’s narrow streets or a visit to the ‘Pink City’s’ must-see attractions.

As the cats are at home here, there are a few simple rules to follow to ensure they’re left in peace: children must be supervised by their parents and learn to approach the animals gently, without disturbing them whilst they’re resting.

A quirky and charming spot where you can combine culinary delights, getting to know the animals and a relaxing family outing in Toulouse!
