About

The Parnasse is one of the sports facilities of the city of Nîmes. Built in 1993 for the Mediterranean Games, it is mainly used by the handball club USAM NIMES GARD.

Thanks to its various sports and event configurations, the Parnasse can accommodate different organizations such as the archery World Cup, conferences, with great adaptability.

Previously hosted:

• In addition to hosting the USAM handball club as the main resident, Parnasse has hosted:

• The French women’s handball team.

• The annual indoor archery World Cup event.

• Installation of the press room for the Tour de France.

• Cultural conferences or political meetings.

• Combat sports meetings: boxing, MMA.

• Access to the city of Nîmes’ Wi-Fi network with wired connection possibility.

• Presence of a cryotherapy room and massage room. (USAM club facilities)

• Presence of over 200m² of storage space.

• Infirmary / anti-doping room.

• A reception room for meetings, with a capacity of 100 people.

• Possibility of video space.
