About

Located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park, this Nature Reserve is classified since 1993 and covers 58% of the town of Eyne. Nicknamed “The Valley of Flowers” because of its remarkable ecological diversity, especially in flora, this natural site is traversed since the eighteenth century by the great names of international botany including Gouan, Bourgat, and Razoul (1767), Adanson (1779), or De Candolle (1807). To date, 500 plants have been identified, including many endemic, rare and protected species. The picking of plants is prohibited in the reserve and dogs are not allowed. You will be welcomed at the House of the Reserve where you will be given advices and proposals of visits.
