The Gorges de la Jonte may not be as famous or as long as the Gorges du Tarn but they are just as beautiful. The Jonte River runs 21km through a deep canyon from Meyrueis to Rozier, the start of the Gorges du Tarn. If you are travelling by car then take the road down from Meyrueis for incredible views of the Gorges de la Jonte. As you get closer to the Tarn River, the views of the canyon get more impressive and spectacular.
